Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who appears on CNN as well as HLN's different platforms. On March 30, 2012, she will be the TV expert, co-executive and co-producer of a DIY NETWORK special entitled Last House ReSISTING. Her first book EXTREME weather published Palgrave Macmillan January 31 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In Boston she also offered entertainment and lifestyle reporting as a special assignment reporter every day of the week. Prior to joining WB56 she was the weekend meteorologist at WFOR-TV in Miami. She held various posts in meteorology and reporting at News 12 Long Island - an all-day news cable channel as well as WXII-TV, the NBC affiliate station in Winston-Salem. Another job she held was an occasional fill-in at The Saturday Early Show in New York City for CBS.
